Join Us for Back to Business!

We're holding a new event this year between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29 – the same morning as RHE's Teacher Meet and Greet – to help you get paperwork for your student(s) completed and answer any questions you might have.  In addition to being able to turn your paperwork in tothe office right away, you'll have a chance to:

  • Pick up a red folder for your student(s)
  • Pick up your school supplies kit if you ordered one
  • Become a PTSA member (no volunteering is required, and PTSA board members will be there to tell you about the benefits of membership)
  • Make your PTSA Annual Appeal donation and paper donation ($7 per student)
  • Update your information for the school directory
  • Order Spirit Wear
  • Get information on programs like Natural Leaders and Watch DOGS

Join us in the covered play area to get these items taken care of and meet some of your 2019-2020 PTSA board members!  Credit cards and checks are accepted, and we'll also have translators available.  Paperwork and red folders will be sent home for those who can't attend.

Watch your email in late August for more information on other upcoming events.

When you give to the Rose Hill Elementary Annual Appeal, you are investing in our school, our community and our children. The Rose Hill Elementary PTSA raises and manages an annual budget of $50,000 to help support and maintain the wonderful programs we have here at Rose Hill that would not otherwise be funded by the state or district budgets.

WHAT DOES THE PTSA FUND?

  • Instructional support, Teacher grants for classroom materials, and Teacher Appreciation
  • Art Docent and Choir
  • School Assemblies, Off-site learning enrichment, and Parent Education Speakers
  • Library Books, and Scholastic News
  • Community Building Events (Back to School BBQ, Bingo Night, Cultural Night, Natural Leaders, Walk to School Week, Yearbook, and more)
  • Watch D.O.G.S

WHAT IS AN ANNUAL APPEAL?

An annual appeal is a 2 week only, direct-giving pledge drive to be held August 29-September 13, 2019. Our goal is to receive 100% Response—meaning all students at Rose Hill Elementary must return a yellow pledge card. If we can do that and reach our $50,000 fundraising goal, you won’t hear from us again. We will not ask you or your kids to buy or sell anything in efforts to fundraise all year.

HOW MUCH?

To be able to maintain the programs and offerings that PTSA currently subsidizes, we are asking for $100 per student. The PTSA understands that $100 per student may be out of the question for some. However, others may be able to do more. Larger gifts are greatly appreciated and help cover families who are unable to give the full amount. You can make your gift go further if your employer matches charitable contributions.

WHAT DO WE DO NEXT?

We ask that you contribute what you can, every dollar helps us reach our goal. Please return a completed yellow pledge card before September 13 or Donate Now.

Please feel free to contact us at RHEfundraising@gmail.com with any questions, or if you need more information. We’re looking forward to a fantastic year!
