Entries are critiqued against others in the same grade division and judged on creative ability and interpretation of the theme.

It takes many people and a lot of time to find judges, coordinate an artwork display, create flyers and posters, promote the program within the classrooms, provide treats for the reception, and help bring entries to the Resource Center!  Please volunteer! We appreciate anything you can do to make this program successful.
7. CONTACT Joann Smith ( or Mako Guest ( with any questions. This is our final year, we need new program chairs for next year! Please let us know if you are interested.

Participants in Reflections will:

  • Have fun creating original works of art at home.
  • Have their entries judged by local art professionals.
  • Have their entries displayed at school.
  • Attend a special reception.
  • Receive a ribbon for participating and awards based on judging.
